DEATHWATCH 2012 is on like Mitt & his magic underdrawers. I think we'll see December 22nd & confirm that those Mayans were full of shit or they were right & everyone is as screwed as I am!

This blog has been formally boring you since Pearl Harbor Day 2010.

I'll try to update as often as possible yet aim to keep it drivel free. I'll aspire to entertain with what I view as the humor of my human existence. I am no longer a sales-geek for Canfield & Tack Printing in Rochester, NY, a full service digital & conventional offset printer who offers web based printing, distribution, fulfillment & management services. I am human anew. I am Leisure Man.

I'll try to include pictures etc. to illustrate what I may be working on creatively or to identify the players. I will occasionally include pix of meatloaf I have known & loved but not that often - I'm kind of off the loaf & down to once a month or two. This is the Meatloaf Chronicle so I'll try to work in some loaf occasionally but at this point I wish I would've come up with something cleverer, rather than be mixed up with a certain rotund singer or a foodstuff that the rest of my family could do without.

If you're here reading this you probably have a working knowledge of me & you're probably looking forward, like I am, to Deathwatch 2013. Thus far, Deathwatch 2012 has been a bit of a non-event (with the exception of a few bad colon days) but I will keep you posted especially after my quarterly clinic visits.
I was diagnosed with ALS in late December, 2009.

As you may know my ALS is of the Bulbar onset variety (voice, breathing, swallowing go first) so I'm still out walking among you, albeit very very rarely & somewhat snaillike (sans slime wake).

If I enter a room & look at you but don't say anything, don't freak, I'm probably out of breath. Enjoy an awkward moment with me while I fire up my iPad & use that with which to speak. I cannot talk to humans anymore although I can communicate with dogs via pheromones & the occasional filthy groundhog with a shovel.
